What kind of aid do we provide?
The Butterfly Foundation provides support to help people having difficulty fulfilling their basic needs, or caring for their health and well-being following a serious loss or illness.
What is the eligibility criteria?
We will first establish that candidates do not have the funds or the physical capability of helping themselves. The final candidate is selected based on a vote by the board of directors.
**Applicants must be Colorado residents only**
How long does the assessment take?
To qualify for assistance, we will run a background check on the potential recipient, contact referrals and conduct a personal interview. This process may take up to 14 business days to complete.
How do I nominate someone for a grant? Can I nominate myself?
To nominate someone (or yourself) for a grant from The Butterfly Foundation, please complete the online grant application.
