Teresa Densmore

Teresa Densmore is the Executive Director of The Butterfly Foundation and brings 20 years of experience in nonprofits, mission-driven business, and entrepreneurship support. She is passionate about helping people access support, stability, and opportunity, and she loves building community-centered programs that make support easier to find and easier to receive. Previously, she managed a social enterprise that created income opportunities through art, and led a downtown Denver entrepreneurial hub where she built programming, led CO.STARTERS accelerator cohorts, and supported founders as they launched their businesses. Teresa holds an MBA from the University of Denver’s Daniels College of Business and an undergraduate degree from Haverford College. In 2019, she won the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Trout Tank pitch competition. Outside of work, she cheers on the DU Pioneers hockey team, keeps a good book close by, and explores new parks with her young son, letting his curiosity pull her back into the joy of being a kid.
