Jose Guzman led a healthy lifestyle but in April of 2022 he was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney cancer and underwent surgery to have his kidney removed and follow up treatment.
We granted $6,000 to the Guzman’s to help them cover medical and other bills while Jose was unable to work for 6 months while undergoing surgery and multiple rounds of life saving chemotherapy.
