Join us for the 11th Annual Putts 4 Patrick Memorial Golf Tournament on 
August 17, 2026 at The Ridge at Castle Pines.

Hosted by The Butterfly Foundation, Putts 4 Patrick is a meaningful day of golf, community, and philanthropy in honor of Patrick Fitzgerald.

Patrick, the late husband of our founder, Nancy Fitzgerald, was tragically killed by a distracted driver while biking home from work. In the face of unimaginable loss, Putts 4 Patrick began as a way to honor Patrick’s life and legacy. Over the years, it has grown into one of The Butterfly Foundation’s most impactful annual fundraisers, bringing together supporters, sponsors, and golfers for a day that is both fun and deeply meaningful.

Why It Matters

Founded in 2009, The Butterfly Foundation provides vital resources and compassionate support to individuals and families navigating loss, tragedy, and crisis across Colorado.

​

Through our Wings of Hope Program, we awarded more than $100,000 in grant funds last year alone, helping 198 individuals across 14 Colorado counties. These funds helped families remain in their homes through rent and mortgage assistance, covered urgent medical and utility bills, and supported critical car and home repairs. Since it's inception The Butterfly Foundation has donated over $500,000 to families throughout Colorado.

We are proud to partner with organizations including Children’s Hospital Colorado, Denver Hospice, Denver Housing Authority, The Salvation Army, SparkHope Automotive, Project Sol Flower, and others to ensure support reaches those who need it most.  When you participate in Putts 4 Patrick, as a golfer, sponsor, donor, or supporter, you help create stability, relief, and hope for Colorado families facing some of life’s hardest moments.​​​

Golf Registration Includes:

  • An 18-hole shotgun start 8:00 am

  • Breakfast at check-in

  • Live Leaderboard

  • Buffet lunch

  • On-course contests and activities

  • Swag, prizes, and plenty of tournament-day fun

Registrations:

  • Early Bird Individual: $200 (expires May 31st)

  • Early Bird Foursome:  $800 (expires May 31st)

  • Individual: $250 (register by August 12th)

  • Foursome: $1,000 (register by August 12th)
